What areas do you serve?

We're based in Palmetto, FL and serve the whole stretch from Sarasota to St. Pete, including Bradenton, Ellenton, Parrish, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, Apollo Beach and Ruskin. Not sure if you're in range? Just call or text and ask.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. DJ's Valued Handyman LLC is licensed and insured, so you're covered from the moment we walk in the door.

What kinds of jobs do you take on?

Everything from a single repair to a long list of small jobs: closet and pantry upgrades, trim and wainscoting, painting, furniture assembly, vinyl flooring, vanity and fixture installs, vinyl fence repair, garage organization, minor landscaping and hurricane shutters. If it's not on the list, ask anyway.

Can you handle several jobs in one visit?

That's what we're here for. Send us the list ahead of time (photos help), so we can plan the visit and show up with the right materials.

How do I get a quote?

Do you install and take down hurricane shutters?

Yes. We'll put your shutters up ahead of a storm and take them down after it passes. Reach out before storm season to get on the list.

Who will I be working with?

DJ's is a family-owned and operated business. You'll deal directly with owner Derek Gaylord.
